Are You Done Hiding? 躲好了沒?
By Huang, Yu-Chin
A fun picture book for children who like finding what is hidden, Are You Done Hiding? is inspired by the author's own experience with a lonely childhood. The protagonist Jim loves to play hide-and-seek the most, yet without friends to play with, he can only play pretend as seeker while looking for "hiding" insects--namely, five snails, eight ladybugs, twelve caterpillars, and fifteen butterflies. Once he gets bored of seeking, he decides to hide, waiting for his dog Nunu to find him. Finally, a boy comes to invite him to join a ball game with his friends, snapping him out of his solitude. However, Jim still prefers playing hide-and-seek... and invites them all to play with him!
Finding hidden objects in this book illustrated through paper collage art will sharpen children's visual and perceptual skills and attention to detail, as well as provide them the ultimate hide-and-seek experience.
